Adding a Shortcut Key to a Folder
24 Mar 04
In our last tip, we showed you how to add a shortcut key to your Internet connection so that you can log on and off from your keyboard. Remember that this 'shortcut key' business applies to any kind of shortcut, which means you can use it to open a frequently used folder as well. Just create a shortcut for any folder by right-clicking it and choosing Send To, Desktop (Create Shortcut), then right-click your new shortcut and select Properties. From there, you can enter a shortcut key sequence by clicking in the Shortcut Key box and pressing a key combination. When you have a combination you like, just click OK.
